located in the East Village Porchetta, is a one of a kind restaurant with a unique menu. They specialize in Porchetta, which is a juicy, boneless cut of Italian pork with incredible flavor. While they only have eight items on the menu, each dish is thoughtfully and creatively prepared with the finest ingredients. The items are well priced, the food is tasty, and the service is great. For a meal to remember, try Porchetta!
The beans were disgusting and the sandwich w ith pork small for the price. 20 dollars for a horrible meal. The tradiional italan porchetta sandwich doesnt taste like this with all oil. Terrile. But the delivery was so fast

SAVORY AND DELICIOUS!

Save your money. Totally overpriced. Sandwich is so dry that i almost choked...the huge chewy chunks of crackling didnt help. Chickory salad was just huge unchopped stalks with a pile of parmesean cheese on top and garlic dressing is bad ceasar. Greens are boiled broccoli rabe without seasoning. Waste of money and time. Staff was friendly...

When they do accept seamless (sometime the owner is iffy about it) it is amazing. fast and hot and great food. The salad is amazing and the pork is perfect

Very tasty pork sandwiches, plenty of meat with some cracklins in there for crunch. The sides are decent, but the porchetta sandwich is the star. Delivery has always been quick and painless.

always my favorite sandwich

The Porchetta sandwich is amazing and the hot sauce is great. The greens are a decent side but step up and get the potatoes and burnt ends. One of the better meals out there.

I love Porchetta. They make one thing (roast pork) and they make it well. The negative reviews made me laugh, or at least the line about the Jolly Rancher. That's the crispy pork skin (i.e. cracklin')! A delicacy in many cultures, but probably an anomaly to many americans weaned on antiseptic processed food. If you like pork like the way it used to be — fatty and dripping with flavor (not the dry stuff they've bred to be less fatty nowadays) — you'll love Porchetta. Although I admit the greens can be a bit stringy, but they're the antidote to all that delicious fat.

really yummy. the first few times the pork skin was tough and not crunchy and barely edible but the last few deliveries have been perfect.

Incredible sandwich.

This was actually horrible. There was over cooked pork in my sandwich that I almost broke my tooth on. I'm not sure if it supposed to be like a pork chip or something but it was harder then a jolly rancher. Also I ordered the potatoes, half were burnt and unchewable I spit it out because I was not sure my stomach acids could dissolve this piece of coal. So potatoes 5 dollars I actually received 2 dollars worth that were edible, not to mention oily as heck. Then the cooked greens, do not get this it has no flavor, basically it is overpriced boiled vegetable, this might have been the most unsatisfying 20+ dollar meal I have ever ordered. I gave it 2 stars because the sandwich was okay, but the sides that I paid 10 dollars for was garbage. Now I have to punch my friend who recommended this place.

I agree with China E. When my food arrived, I thought i was eating a soup because of all the grease. Skip it.

The sandwich was good, but nothing extraordinary. Delivery took about an hour and 45 minutes because the delivery guy got lost and went the opposite direction from my place (how do you get lost in east village?) And then when he finally reached me and i gave him directions, he refused to come to me unless I promised him an extra tip. It was very strange and pretty annoying, but I won't hold that against the restaurant... food gets 3 stars

It's really hard to find a better gourmet pork sandwich and the roasted potatoes are yummy too.

One of the tastiest sandwiches in the city - perfect hangover food and solid side dishes too. Not sure what the previous reviewer had such a problem with, may be a disgruntled neighbor. I love Porchetta.
